Guided Tour of the Historic Haymarket.

Saturday June 19, $15 per person. Tours leave at 1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED.

This tour will take guests through the city’s historic Haymarket district, the largest collection of 1860s, 70s, 80s, and 90s commercial buildings remaining in the city.  Historian Ryan Roenfeld will point out the various architectural styles, and how these buildings tell the story of this once bustling area and of the people that lived and worked here.  Tours are about fifty minutes in length and depart from the Bregant House, 517 Fourth Street, Council Bluffs. A restroom is available at the Bregant House but no restrooms are available along the route.  The walk is on city sidewalks and streets; the terrain is flat.
